Many people don't relize how important family is. Well I do. If you really think about it, you'll relize family is all you have. I relized you don't have anything if you don't have family.
When my mom and dad suggested that I should play a sport a chose soccer. When my first game came I made a little mistakeand I was soooo frustrated with myself and it was on my first game too. 'Happy birthday Joe' I said trying to make the moment a little happier. As I was entering the cold dark scary hospital, I was going to see my dad's best firend Jerome. I asked my mom's Jerome going to be ok?' my mom said I don't know. He's very sick.
We walked into a room that had three couches and a computer. Zach and Joe ran right passed me. My mom and dad sadly walked to the other room. Before they left I asked if I could see Jerome, but my mom and dad said ''no, we think it would be bad memory for you, because he's very sick and pale.''
30min. Passed and my dad came in to check on my brothers and I. Tears were racing down my check, my dad came over and hugged me and told me to think of happy thoughts. ''Sure'' I said wiping my tears from my check. When my dad left the room I tried to think of happy thoughts, I listened quietly but all I heard was beau, beau, beau. ''ZACH, JOE TURN IT DOWN'' I yelled. A few hours later my mom, Zach, Joe, and I went back to the house.
1 hour later ''ring, ring'' it was the phone. Jerome had passed. ''Why?'' I asked my mom with tears. ''Dear' she said. ''He was an alcoholic. '' I started to understand more. Jerome was like an uncle to me. When Jerome died it changed my life forever.
